Room on the roof
Inspired by the organized chaos on the rooftops of Cairo, the city of my ancestors, I developed a concept for a mobile rooftop hostel in Amsterdam. Depending on where there is a building crane, the hostel unit, fit for either 2, 4 or 8 persons, can be lifted up on any flat rooftop near the crane. See more

The Coffee Theatre
At the Rietveld Academy we have 64 nationalities. We researched 64 ways of drinking coffee and tea to design a mobile coffee bar for the Academy. The design won the FEDLEV DIY competition and currently we are working on a second prototype that could be used in the new Rietveld Building. Read more
